Welcome to the Walton Band Program!

Walton Band serves more than 350 students through four concert bands, three jazz bands, two percussion ensembles, student-led ensembles, indoor percussion, winter guard, and the Walton Marching Raider Band. The Walton Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band also perform at major events throughout Georgia.

The Walton Marching Raider Band is a recipient of the Sudler Shield from the John Philip Sousa Foundation. The band has participated in prestigious events and parades, including the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Tournament of Roses Parade, the London New Year's Day Parade, and numerous bowl game performances. The Walton Marching Raider Band also has a long record of competitive success, including local Grand Championships, consistent finalist appearances at Bands of America Regional and Super Regional competitions, and three semifinalist appearances at the Bands of America Grand National Championships.

The Walton Band Parent Association (WBPA), often referred to as the Band Boosters, supports Walton Band students and includes all Walton Band parents and guardians. The involvement of families like yours allows our directors to focus on developing the talents of our students. The WBPA coordinates activities, provides volunteers, raises funds, and supplies additional resources throughout the year.
